End Time Strong Delusion II (Counterfeits)

Counterfeiter

The adversary (devil, satan, lucifer, beelzebub, etc) is a counterfeiter.  This is a key to understand the end time delusion.  Satan knows the Scriptures, and he knows what mainstream religion has taught man about the end times.  He will use this to his advantage, fulfilling what mankind believes is going to happen in order to set them up for his coming to appear as Adonai Yahshua.

The great prophecies of the Messiah speak of Him regathering Yisrael, coming back to earth with the angels, the angels portioning out the land to His people, building the Temple, the restoration of Eden, Him reigning as King over all the earth and sitting on the throne of the ark of the covenant.

The counterfeit of the Messiah is the adversary regathering “Israel”, coming to earth with the fallen angels, the fallen angels portioning out the land (aka dividing of the land), building a temple, restoring a counterfeit Eden, reigning as king over all the earth and sitting on the throne proclaiming to be God.

First, however, the adversary will counterfeit the prophecies regarding the antichrist, the beast and the rest of the end time prophecies in order that he can truly counterfeit the end time prophecies.

Example.  The counterfeit of the antichrist would be a UN Dictator or Prince Charles or Barack Obama etc..  The true antichrist would come afterwords to save mankind from the counterfeit antichrist and appear as though he is the true Messiah.

Satan the counterfeiter

The 5 “I wills”

Isa 14:12  Oh shining star (Lucifer), son of the morning, how you have fallen from the heavens! You weakening the nations, you are cut down to the ground.
Isa 14:13  For you have said In your heart, I will go up to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit in the mount of meeting, in the sides of the north.
Isa 14:14  I will rise over the heights of the clouds; I will be compared to the Most High.
Isa 14:15  Yet you shall go down to Sheol, to the sides of the Pit.

This is a counterfeit of the 5 “I Wills” of Exodus
Exo 6:6  Therefore, say to the sons of Israel, I am YHWH, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of Egypt, and will deliver you from their slavery. And I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.
Exo 6:7  And I will take you for Myself for a people, and I will be a God for you. And you shall know that I am YHWH your God, the One bringing you out from under the burdens of Egypt.
Exo 6:8  And I will bring you into the land which I raised My hand to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. And I will give it to you for a possession. I am YHWH!

The adversary appears as an angel of light
2Co 11:13  For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
2Co 11:14  And did not Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light?
2Co 11:15  It is not a great thing, then, if also his ministers transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Rev 13:11  And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. And it had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon.

Serpent on the tree

Joh 3:14  And even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

The adversary counterfeits this in ancient religions as the serpent entwined.  The entwined serpent is a counterfeit symbol.  The tree of life versus the tree of knowledge.  The Torah points to the adversary as the enemy of mankind for seducing Adam and Chavvah into eating from the tree of knowledge, whereas, the mystery religions point to the adversary as the benevolent one who freed mankind from Adonai and led us into enlightenment.  They turn the tree of knowledge into a counterfeit of the tree of life.  Hence, the process of counterfeiting goes all the way back to the Garden.

The word for serpent (nachash) and the word for messiah (mashiach) both have a gematria of 358.  The word for lion in Job 10:16 (shachal) also has the gematria of 358.  Messiah is spoken of as the lion of the tribe of Judah, the adversary is spoken of as a roaring lion by Peter.  Messiah is spoken of as the bright and morning star and so is the adversary.  The picture of the adversary as the counterfeit of the Messiah is seen over and over again in Scripture

Counterfeit Chosen People

This will be addressed in a future study, Yah willing, in more detail.  In short, the doctrine that the Jews who don’t accept Yahshua as the Messiah are the chosen people is a counterfeit of the true chosen people who believe in Him and keep His commandments.

1Pe 2:9  But ye are a chosen generation (chosen race), a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Gal 3:26  For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:27  For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Gal 3:28  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:29  And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Counterfeit regathering.

1948-Zion born in a day?  The Scripture that men quote for this comes from the prophecy in Isaiah speaking of the Kingdom come.  If 1948 was the birth of Zion and the regathering of Israel, then Yahshua is not the Messiah and the Kingdom has come.  Ezekiel states that the great Shepherd gathers Yisrael. In order to believe that Jews who do not believe in Yahshua are the chosen people, one would need to deny Yahshua is the King of Yisrael.  This will be discussed further, Yah willing, in a future study.

Isa 66:7  Before she travailed, she brought forth; before pain came to her, she delivered a male child. (Revelation 12)
Isa 66:8  Who has heard a thing like this? Who has seen things like these? Shall the earth be brought forth in one day? Shall a nation be born in one step? For Zion travailed and also brought forth her sons.
Isa 66:9  Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says YHWH. Surely I cause birth, and hold back, says your God.
Isa 66:10  Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all who love her. Rejoice a rejoicing with her, all who mourn for her;
Isa 66:11  that you may suck and be satisfied with her comforting breasts; that you may milk out and delight yourselves with the fullness of her glory.
Isa 66:12  For so says YHWH: Behold, I stretch out peace to her like a river, and glory of nations like an overflowing torrent. And you shall suck; you shall be carried on the side and be dandled on knees.
Isa 66:13  As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

Counterfeit 2nd coming

Mat 24:27  For as the lightning comes forth from the east and shines as far as the west, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Luk 10:18  And He said to them, I saw Satan falling out of Heaven as lightning!

Mat 24:29  And immediately after the affliction of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Mat 24:30  And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens. And then all the tribes of the land will wail. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and much glory. Dan. 7:13
Mat 24:31  And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the heavens to their ends.
Rev 12:7  And war occurred in Heaven, Michael and his angels making war against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels made war,
Rev 12:8  but they did not have strength, nor yet was place found for them in Heaven.
Rev 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent being called devil, and, Satan; he deceiving the whole habitable world was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:10  And I heard a great voice saying in Heaven, Now has come the salvation and power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ, because the accuser of our brothers is thrown down, the one accusing them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11  And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul even until death.
Rev 12:12  Because of this, be glad, the heavens and those tabernacling in them. Woe to the ones dwelling on the earth, and in the sea, because the devil came down to you having great anger, knowing that he has a little time!

Interestingly, in the “Lost Books of the Bible”, there is story of satan appearing to Adam and Eve as a man clothed in garments of light.

Then on the eighty-ninth day, Satan came to the cave, clad in a garment of light,and girt about with a bright girdle.
In his hands was a staff of light, and he looked most awful : but his face was pleasant and his speech was sweet. He thus transformed himself in order to deceive Adam and Eve, and to make them come out of the cave, ere they had ” O Adam, rise ye, stand up, thou and Eve, and come along with me, to a good land ; and fear not. I am flesh and bones like you ; and at first I was a creature that God created. And it was so, that when He had created me, He placed in a garden in the north,* on the border of the world. ” And He said to me, ‘ Abide here And I abode there according to His Word, neither did I transgress His commandment. ” Then He made a slumber to come over me, and He brought thee, Adam, out of my side, but did not make thee abide by me. ” But God said unto me, ‘ Angels, verily, are not like them ; and they will not consent to come with them. But I have chosen thee, because they are thy offspring, and like thee, and will hearken to what thou sayest ” God said further to me, ‘ If thou hast not strength to w alk, I will send a cloud to carry thee and alight thee at the entrance of their cave; then the cloud will return and leave thee [there]. ” ‘ And if they will come with thee, I will send a cloud to carry thee and them.’ ” Then He commanded a cloud, and it bare me up and brought me to you ; and then went back. ” And now, my children, Adam and Eve, look at my hoar hairs and at my feeble estate, and at my coming from that distant place. Come, come with me, to a place of rest.”
Then he began to weep and to sob before Adam and Eve, and his tears poured upon the earth like water. And when Adam and Eve raised their eyes and saw his beard, and heard his sweet talk,* their hearts softened towards
him ; they hearkened unto him, for they believed he was true.  And it seemed to them that they really were his offspring, when they saw that his face was like their own; and they trusted him.

1 Adam and Eve Chapter 51:8
8 “Therefore he was unable to do aught to you, unless he showed himself in the likeness of you.”
9 “Therefore did he come to you with a face like your own, and began to give you tokens as if they were all true.”

This story in this book is certainly not Scripture but it is interesting that even the ancients, who penned these words, knew of the concept of the adversary appearing as an angel of light to deceive mankind.  The idea of him coming on a cloud and giving “tokens” to deceive them falls right in line with what Scripture speaks about the man of sin.

Counterfeit Dividing of the Land

The PLO state.  This is a dividing of the land of Israel, but does it match what the prophets said of this prophecy?

Dividing the Land in Scripture always refers to portioning out the Land to the tribes of Yisrael.  The dividing of the Land spoken of in Daniel as well as Joel is a counterfeit of this.

Num 34:29  These are the ones whom YHWH commanded to divide* the land to the sons of Israel in the land of Canaan.
Deu 19:3  You shall prepare the way for yourself, and shall divide into three parts** the border of your land which YHWH your God shall cause you to inherit, so that every manslayer may flee there.
Jos 13:7  Now, then, divide*** this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
Jos 18:5  And they shall divide*** it into seven parts. Judah shall stay within their border on the south, and the house of Joseph shall stay within their border on the north.
Isa 53:12  Because of this I will divide*** to Him with the great, and with the strong He shall divide the spoil; because He poured out His soul to death; and He was counted with those transgressing; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for those transgressing.
Eze 45:1  And when you shall divide**** the land by lot for an inheritance, you shall offer a heave offering to YHWH, a holy portion of the land. The length shall be twenty five thousand cubits long and the width ten thousand. It shall be holy in all its borders all around.
Eze 47:21  And you shall divide*** this land for yourselves by the tribes of Israel.
Eze 47:22  And it will be, you shall divide**** by lot for an inheritance to yourselves, and to the aliens who reside among you, who shall father sons among you. And they shall be to you as native born among the sons of Israel. They shall have an inheritance fall among the tribes of Israel.
Dan 11:39  And he shall act in the strongholds of the fortresses with a foreign god, whom he shall acknowledge. He shall multiply in glory, and he shall cause them to rule over many and shall divide*** the land for a price.

The Eloha of the Antichrist divide the land

Dan 11:38  But in his place he shall honor the god of forces (mahuzzim), and he shall honor a god whom his fathers did not know, with gold and silver and with precious stones, and desirable things.
Dan 11:39  And he shall act in the strongholds of the fortresses with a foreign god (eloha), whom he shall acknowledge. He shall multiply in glory, and he shall cause them (eloha) to rule over many and shall divide the land for a price.

In ancient writings of the Sumerians they speak of the “gods” dividing the land.

Plato in  Critias also supports this concept, that a group of divine beings in ancient times, “gods of the nations”, had divided up rule over the earth amongst themselves, a rule that continues today:
In the days of old the gods had the whole earth distributed among them by allotment. There was no quarrelling; for you cannot rightly suppose that the gods did not know what was proper for each of them to have, or, knowing this, that they would seek to procure for themselves by contention that which more properly belonged to others. They all of them by just apportionment obtained what they wanted, and peopled their own districts; and when they had peopled them they tended us, their nurselings and possessions, as shepherds tend their flocks, excepting only that they did not use blows or bodily force, as shepherds do, but governed us like pilots from the stern of the vessel, which is an easy way of guiding animals, holding our souls by the rudder of persuasion according to their own pleasure;-thus did they guide all mortal creatures.

Interestingly, the stories of Atlantis portray this “paradise” being ruled by 10 kings.

Rev 12:3  And another sign was seen in the heavens. And, behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns! And on his heads were seven diadems,

Rev 13:1  And I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten diadems, and on its heads names of blasphemy.

The Scriptures speak of angels “ruling” behind the scenes as well.

Joh 12:31  Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world shall be cast out.
Joh 14:30  I shall no longer speak many things with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.
Joh 16:11  and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

Luk 4:6  And the Devil said to Him, I will give all this authority and their glory to You, because it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.
Luk 4:7  Then if You worship before me, all will be Yours.
Dan 10:13  But the king of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty one days. But, lo, Michael, one of the first rulers, came to help me. And I stayed there with the kings of Persia.
Dan 10:20  And he said, Do you know why I have come to you? And now I will return to fight with the ruler of Persia. And when I have gone out, then, lo, the ruler of Greece shall come.
Dan 10:21  But I will tell you what is written in the Scripture of Truth. And no one makes himself strong with me in these things except Michael your ruler.

Eph 2:2  in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit now working in the sons of disobedience,
Eph 6:12  because wrestling against flesh and blood is not to us, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world’s rulers, of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenlies.

This is a counterfeit of when Yahshua sends His angels to divide the wheat from the chaff
Mat 13:39  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Mat 13:40  As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
Mat 13:41  The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
Mat 13:49  So it will be in the completion of the age: the angels will go out and will separate the evil from the midst of the righteous,
Mat 13:50  and will throw them into the furnace of fire; there will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

Counterfeit Garden of Eden

The Scriptures speak of when the Messiah returns and establishes His kingdom, the earth will be restored to its original state (Garden of Eden)

Isa 51:3  For YHWH comforts Zion. He comforts all her desolations, and He makes her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of YHWH; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of singing praise.
Eze 36:33  So says the Lord YHWH: In the day I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the wastes shall be built.
Eze 36:34  And the desolated land shall be cultivated, rather than being a ruin in the eyes of all passing by.
Eze 36:35  And they shall say, This land that was desolated has become like the garden of Eden. And the wasted and desolated and razed cities are fortified and inhabited.
Eze 36:36  And the nations left all around you shall know that I, YHWH, built the razed places and planted that which was desolated. I, YHWH have spoken it and will do it.

The adversary will counterfeit this paradise state

Joe 2:1  Blow a ram’s horn in Zion, and shout an alarm in My holy mountain. Let all those living in the land tremble. For the day of YHWH approaches; it is near,
Joe 2:2  a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, as the dawn spread out on the mountains, a great and a strong people. There has never been the like, nor shall there ever be again to the years of many generations;
Joe 2:3  a fire devours before it, and a flame burns behind it. The land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them is a desolate wilderness; yea, also there is no escape to them.

Sodom and Gomorrah likened to the Garden of Eden

Gen 13:10  And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the circuit of Jordan, that it was well-watered before YHWH destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even like the garden of YHWH, like the land of Egypt as you come to Zoar.

What is the land of Israel called in the end times?
Rev 11:8  And their bodies will be on the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom, and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified.

Counterfeit Temple

It is clear from the Scriptures that the Messiah will build a Temple in the 1,000 year reign and rule from it.  It is also clear from Scripture that the end time delusion revolves around a future Temple.  Whether the Messiah destroys this future false temple and rebuilds another or cleanses this next Temple like the Maccabees did in years of old is still debatable.

The true Temple can be seen in Ezekiel chapters 40-48.

The next temple is not accepted…those who don’t accept the next temple will be persecuted, but YHWH will appear to the glory of those who don’t accept the temple and destroy those who worship falsely at this upcoming counterfeit.
Isa 66:1  So says YHWH: Heaven is My throne, and earth the footstool of My feet. Where then is the house that you build for Me? And where then is the place of My rest?
Isa 66:2  And My hand has made all these things, even all these things exist, declares YHWH. But I will look toward this one, to the afflicted, and to the contrite of spirit, even trembling at My Word.
Isa 66:3  He who kills an ox is as if he struck a man; he who sacrifices a lamb is as if he broke a dog’s neck; he who offers a present is as if it were swine’s blood; he making mention of incense is as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their way, and their soul delights in their abominations.
Isa 66:4  I also will choose their vexations (KJV DELUSIONS**); and I will bring their fears to them; because I called, and no one answered; I spoke, and they did not hear. But they did the evil in My eyes, and chose that in which I had no pleasure.
Isa 66:5  Hear the Word of YHWH, those who tremble at His Word. Your brothers who hate you##, who drive you out for My name’s sake, have said, YHWH is glorified. But He shall appear in your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

**The strong delusion spoken of in 2 Thessalonians is intimately connected to the false temple in the end of days
2Th 2:1  And, brothers, we entreat you, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together to Him,
2Th 2:2  for you not to be quickly shaken in the mind, nor to be disturbed, neither through a spirit, nor through speech, nor through letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ has come.
2Th 2:3  Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, because that Day will not come unless first comes the falling away, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
2Th 2:4  the one opposing and exalting himself over everything being called God, or object of worship, so as for him “to sit in the temple of God” as God, setting forth himself, that he is God. Dan. 11:36; Eze. 28:2
2Th 2:5  Do you not remember that I told you these things, I yet being with you?
2Th 2:6  And now you know the thing holding back, for him to be revealed in his time.
2Th 2:7  For the mystery of lawlessness already is working, only he is holding back now, until it comes out of the midst.
2Th 2:8  And then “the Lawless One” will be revealed, “whom” “the Lord” “will consume” “by the spirit of His mouth,” and will bring to nought by the brightness of His presence. Isa. 11:4 ; Rev 19:15
2Th 2:9  His coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and miraculous signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10  and in all deceit of unrighteousness in those being lost, because they did not receive the love of the truth in order for them to be saved.
2Th 2:11  And because of this, God will send to them a working of error (STRONG DELUSION), for them to believe the lie,
2Th 2:12  that all may be judged, those not believing the truth, but who have delighted in unrighteousness.

##Persecution of the true believers by those who worship at the Temple
Eze 11:15  Son of man, your brothers, your brothers, the men of your kindred, and all the house of Israel, all of them who have said to those living in Jerusalem, Go far away from YHWH this land is given to us for a possession.
Psa 27:10  When my father and my mother forsake me then YHWH will take me up.
Psa 27:11  Teach me Your way, O YHWH, and lead me in a level path, because of those who watch me.
Psa 27:12  Do not give me into the soul of my foes; for false witnesses have risen up against me, and the ones breathing out violence.
Psa 27:13  I would have fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of YHWH in the land of the living.
Psa 27:14  Hope in YHWH; be strong and He will make strong your heart; yea, hope in YHWH!
Joh 16:1  I have spoken these things to you so that you may not be offended.
Joh 16:2  They will put you out of the synagogue, but an hour is coming that everyone killing you will think to bear a service before God.
Joh 16:3  And they will do these things to you because they do not know the Father nor Me.
Joh 16:4  But I have spoken these things to you so that when the hour comes you may recall them, that I told you these things. But I did not say these things to you from the beginning because I was with you.
This persecution takes place after WWIII when Islam is “miraculously” defeated by the FALSE Israel.  The antichrist will come from heaven with 1/3 of the angel (Rev 12) deceiving mankind into building the temple to worship the Almighty and try to convince mankind that he is in fact the Messiah and should be worshipped.  This is when many brethren will be deceived and will gladly deliver those who don’t accept this to be persecuted and even killed as though they were doing God a service and ultimately ’saving’ their loved ones fromd denying the Messiah.  The antichrist will bring fire down from heaven to consume the sacrifices leading people to believe that the favor of the Father is upon this structure and this man.  He will then sit between the cherubim, as a counterfeit of what the prophet Ezekiel speaks of referring to Yahshua Ha’Moshiach (Ezekiel 43)
Mat 24:7  For nation will be raised against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes against many places.
Mat 24:8  But all these are a beginning of throes.
Mat 24:9  Then they will deliver you up to affliction, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.
Mat 24:10  And then many will be offended, and they will deliver up one another and will hate one another.
Mat 24:11  And many false prophets will be raised and will cause many to err.
Mat 24:12  And because lawlessness shall have been multiplied, the love of the many will grow cold.
Mat 10:17  But beware of men. For they will betray you to sanhedrins, and they will flog you in their synagogues.
Mat 10:18  And also you will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.
Mat 10:19  But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious how or what you should say, for it is given to you in that hour what you should say.
Mat 10:20  For you are not the ones speaking, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
Mat 10:21  But brother will betray brother to death, and the father his child. And children will rise up against parents and will put them to death.
Mat 10:22  And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but the one enduring to the end shall be kept safe.
Mat 10:23  But when they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For truly I say to you, In no way will you have finished the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.

The birth of Zion happens AFTER the false temple is built…NOT  1948

Isa 66:6  A roaring sound from the city! A sound from the temple! It is the sound of YHWH repaying retribution to His enemies.
Isa 66:7  Before she travailed, she brought forth; before pain came to her, she delivered a male child.
Isa 66:8  Who has heard a thing like this? Who has seen things like these? Shall the earth be brought forth in one day? Shall a nation be born in one step? For Zion travailed and also brought forth her sons.
Isa 66:9  Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says YHWH. Surely I cause birth, and hold back, says your God.
Isa 66:10  Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all who love her. Rejoice a rejoicing with her, all who mourn for her;
Isa 66:11  that you may suck and be satisfied with her comforting breasts; that you may milk out and delight yourselves with the fullness of her glory.
Isa 66:12  For so says YHWH: Behold, I stretch out peace to her like a river, and glory of nations like an overflowing torrent. And you shall suck; you shall be carried on the side and be dandled on knees.
Isa 66:13  As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
Isa 66:14  And you will see, and your heart shall rejoice; and your bones shall flourish like the grass. And the hand of YHWH shall be known toward His servants, and He shall be indignant with His enemies.
Isa 66:15  For, behold, YHWH will come with fire, and His chariots like the tempest, to return His wrath in fury, and His rebuke in flames of fire.
Isa 66:16  For by fire and by His sword YHWH will execute judgment with all flesh; and the slain of YHWH shall be many.

The Messiah builds the Temple
Zec 6:12  And speak to him, saying, So says YHWH of Hosts, saying, Behold! The Man whose name is THE BRANCH! And He shall spring up out of His place, and He shall build the temple of YHWH.
Zec 6:13  Even He shall build the temple of YHWH; and He shall bear the majesty, and shall sit and rule on His throne. And He shall be a priest on His throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between the two of them.

The mark of the Beast is a counterfeit of the mark of YHWH

Num 1:2  Lift the heads of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, every male, by their heads;

Num 1:17  And Moses and Aaron took these men who were marked (naqab) out by name.

Num 1:18  And they assembled all the congregation on the first of the second month. And they declared their births according to their families, by their fathers’ house, according to the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, by their heads.
Num 1:19  As YHWH commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
Psa 87:5  And it shall be said to Zion, This man and that man was born in her; and the Highest Himself shall establish her.
Psa 87:6  In recording the peoples YHWH shall mark down, This man was born there. Selah.

The end times dividing of the land could perhaps be a counterfeit of the alloting of land spoken of by the prophets (Eze 48 & Rev 20).  Those who take the mark will be thinking that they are being numbered for the Kingdom of Heaven.

ANTITHESIS OF THE SIGN/MARK OF YHWH
Rev 14:9  And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Rev 13:16  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Rev 13:18  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six

The mark of the beast being the antithesis to the mark of YHWH (the Torah) is further emphasized by delving into the meaning and usage of the Aramaic word for mark (ruoshma).  We are either marked by and for YHWH or by and for Satan.  We will either be in the image of the Messiah or the image of the antichrist.
2Co 3:7  Now if the ministration of death was engraved(aetrashmat) upon stones in writing, and was so glorious that the children of Israel could not look on the face of Moses, on account of the glory upon his face which vanished away;
Rom 8:29 He knew them in advance and he marked (Gk predestined) them with the likeness of the image of his Son that he might be the first-born among many brethren.
Eph 1:4  according as he had previously chosen us in him, before the foundation of the world, that we might be holy and without blame before him; and, in love, predestinated (Gk chosen) us for himself;

UNLEAVENED BREAD
Exo 13:6  Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to YHWH.
Exo 13:7  Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.
Exo 13:8  And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which YHWH did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
Exo 13:9  And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that YHWH’s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath YHWH brought thee out of Egypt.

SABBATHS
Exo 31:13  Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
Exo 31:14  And you shall keep the Sabbath, for it is holy for you; the profaners of it dying shall die; for everyone doing work in it, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of his people.
Exo 31:15  Work may be done six days, and on the seventh day is a sabbath of rest, holy to YHWH; everyone doing work on the Sabbath day dying shall die.
Exo 31:16  And the sons of Israel shall observe the Sabbath, to do the Sabbath for their generations; it is a never ending covenant.

COMMANDMENTS

Redemption of the 1st born (the first born are the 144,000)
Exo 13:15  And it happened when Pharaoh hardened himself against sending us away, YHWH killed every first-born one in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of men even to the first-born of animals. On account of this I sacrifice to YHWH every one of the males opening the womb, and I redeem every first-born of my sons.
Exo 13:16  And it shall be for a sign on your hand, and frontlets between your eyes. For YHWH brought us out from Egypt by the might of His hand.

NAME IN FOREHEADS
Rev 14:1  And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion! And with Him were a hundred and forty four thousands, with the name of His Father having been written on their foreheads.
Rev 22:4  And they will see His face; and His name will be on their foreheads.

Name is the Word Rev 19:13
Rev 19:13  and having been clothed in a garment which had been dipped in blood. And His name is called The Word of God.

We are marked by the Name/Torah/Yahshua
Rev 7:3  Do not harm the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we seal the slaves of our God on their foreheads.
Rev 7:4  And I heard the number of those having been sealed: one hundred forty four thousands, having been sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel:
8:23 Distinction=redemption=sign=ephod=mark of YHWH?
Exo 8:23  And I will put redemption (KJV distinction) between My people and your people. This miracle shall be for tomorrow.

Eze 9:4  And YHWH said to him, Pass through in the midst of the city, in the midst of Jerusalem, and mark a mark on the foreheads of the men who are groaning and are mourning over all the abominations that are done in her midst.
Eze 9:5  And He said to those in my hearing, Pass over in the city after him and strike. Do not let your eye spare, and do not have pity.
Eze 9:6  Slay the aged men, the young man, and the virgin, even children, and women, all to destruction. But to every man who has the mark on him, do not come near. And begin from My sanctuary. And they began with the aged men who were before the house.
Yah willing, I will put a more detailed study on the subject of the mark at a future time.  These are only small portions of how the adversary counterfeits the Scripture.  He is a master counterfeiter and will give people many different choices according to their desires.  Every religion on this earth is a counterfeit of the truth and is based in truth when you dig down to the root of their teachings.  In the end it comes down to this:  Fear YHWH and keep His commandments.  Anything else is a counterfeit to feed that need within all of us for a relationship with the Creator without the need for us to die to ourselves and let Him be Lord of our lives.
